Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations
Fund"(PM-cares), is going to allocate Rs/- 3100 Cr for the fight against
COVID-19 where almost Rs/- 2000 Cr will be
earmarked for the purchase of ventilators. The trust
formed on March 28(46 days ago) is headed by the prime minister. The other
ex-officio members of the trust are the defence minister, the home minister and
the finance minister.

Sitharaman’s announcement on the Rs 20 lakh crore special Covid economic
package and it was a “cruel blow dealt to those who toil every day”. The package combines the government's recent
announcements on supporting key sectors as also measures rolled out by the
Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
This amount would be provided to the
State Governments/UTs to place it at the disposal of the District
Collectors/Municipal Commissioners for strengthening their efforts in providing
accommodation facilities, making food arrangements, providing medical
treatment, and making transportation arrangements of the migrants.
28,732 cases have been closed with 26,186 people
are recovered, as many of the people are thinking that Lockdown 4.0 in India is
one of the final stages in lockdown during Corona Virus pandemic but the rising
of cases is speaking something else.
