 A pregnant elephant who died in Kerala after she was fed a pineapple stuffed with firecrackers,  has sparked outrage in social media. Bollywood celebrities have also taken to Twitter and and Instagram to express shock over the incident.

                 

The elephant had left the forests of silent valley in palakkad district, travelling into a nearby village in search of food. According to forest officials, the elephant is suspected to have eaten the cracked-filled pineapple, allegedly placed by some locals.

Absolutely shocked over this kerala elephant incident, Alia Bhatt wrote on Instagram, “We need to be their voice and coexist! Is this meant to be some kind of sick joke??”
