Lockdown 4 guidelines: What will open, what will remain closed
The Centre has extended the nationwide lockdown until May 31 The Union home ministry has issued guidelines listing the dos and don'ts during the lockdown 4.0, providing further relaxations with a view to open up the economy.
Allowed:
- Hotels, restaurants shall be allowed to operate for home delivery of food items.
- Sports activities have been allowed, stadium and sports complexes will be open but spectators are not be allowed.
- barber shops, shopping and salons complexes to open.
Not allowed:
- All domestic, international air travel of passengers, except domestic air ambulance, remains prohibited till May 31
- Train services will remain suspended except Shramik trains and special trains.
- All cinema halls, shopping malls, gymnasiums, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars and auditoriums to remain closed.
- Schools, colleges and other educational institutions to remain closed till May 31.
The marking of of Red, Green and Orange zones will be decided by the respective State and UT Governments, after taking into consideration the parameters shared by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
In the containment zones, only essential activities shall be allowed.
