CBSE board class 12th result 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the results for its 2020 class xii board examinations on monday.
Lucknow girl Divyanshi Jain, a class 12th student topper of CBSE 2020 scored 600 marks out of 600 to get 100% marks, Second child of a businessman father and a homemaker mother, Divyanshi gave the credit of her success to her parents and teachers. “My teachers guided me throughout the year and I was able to follow a systematic routine due to my parents. Both these factors allowed me to concentrate on my studies and score good marks,” said Divyanshi. “I also made it a point to focus on revision and mock tests that helped me to score better,” she added. She also gave ample time to sleep and followed a healthy routine. Divyanshi appeared for the exam of all subjects except geography, which was cancelled due to covid-19. She was also among the toppers at her school and had scored 97% marks.The 18-year-old did not lose a single mark in any of her six subjects scoring a 100 in each.
According to the information given by the board, 88.78% of the students passed the 12th CBSE examination this year. Trivandrum, Bengaluru and Chennai have been top three in terms of performance in this year exam. This year, where 94.39% results have come in Delhi zone, the percentage of girls is 92.15%. Let us know that this year girls have performed 5.96% better than boys.
The board devised a formula to impute the marks of papers in which students did not appear. This involved calculating with an average of the best three papers of students who had written four papers, of the best two for students who had written only three, and used practical and project marks for students who had written less than two.
