Did the Annabelle Doll Escape from the Warren Museum? Where is the Annabelle doll now?

You already know how haunted Annabelle doll is if you’ve seen “The Conjuring” horror film series. On Friday (Aug. 14, 2020) a rumor started that the Annabelle doll, the possessed doll that inspired horror films such as “The Conjuring,” had escaped from an occult museum in Connecticut.

The all rumor of Annabelle’s alleged escape started just after an internet user changed Annabelle’s Wikipedia page, claiming she had escaped from the museum Friday morning.

But Annabelle didn't actually escape, The Annabelle doll currently resides at the Warren Occult Museum.  Late paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren started this museum.

If you don’t know the past story of the doll, Annabelle was first owned by two women in 1970 who claimed the doll was “moving through their apartment” and was leaving written notes. It pretended to be a child but demonic spirit was tied up with this doll, claimed by some paranormal experts.

They claimed their Raggedy Ann doll was possessed by the spirit of a young girl named Annabelle Higgins. At that time The Warrens took the doll, telling the roommates it was "being manipulated by an inhuman presence", and put it on display at the family's "Occult Museum".

The museum was closed due to a zoning violation in 2019 & the doll is no longer on display. Annabelle is currently in the possession of Edward and Lorraine Warrens’ son-in-law, Tony Spera.
