Russia vaccine Update: Russia Covid Vaccine Name

Vladimir Putin , President of Russia has claimed that Russia has become the first country to develop a corona vaccine & grant regulatory approval to a COVID-19 vaccine after less than two months of human testing. "I know that it works quite effectively, forms strong immunity, and I repeat, it has passed all the needed checks," said Putin.

 The process of making vaccines is going on in the whole world; meanwhile Russia has made it ready. By involving 38 people from 18^th June, the vaccine's medical trials began. Resistance has developed in all of them. The first group was discharged on 15th July, while the second was discharged on 20th July. 

The vaccine still has to complete final trials, Russian business conglomerate Sistema has said it expects to put it into mass production by the end of the year.
The vaccine will be marketed under the name 'Sputnik V' on foreign markets, Kirill Dmitriev, head of Russia's sovereign wealth fund said.

Russia’s health minister Mikhail Murashko said members of “risk groups” such as medical workers might be offered the vaccine this month and a mass vaccination programme would be launched in October. He did not clarify whether they would be part of the Phase III study which is to be completed after the vaccine has received 'conditional approval'. 

According to WHO data, at least four are in final Phase III human trials from more than 100+ possible vaccines are being developed around the world to try to stop the COVID 19 pandemic.
